Justin Abee, Assistant Designer
Justin Abee is an Assistant Designer for Sens Furniture. Mr. Abee attended Savannah College of Art and Design, where he received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Furniture Design with a minor in Sculpture. In his studies in Savannah, Mr. Abee concentrated on high-end studio furniture in the French Art Deco and Modernist style. After receiving his degree, Mr. Abee started his own custom furniture practice, and received a contract with Meadowlark Studios to assist in the design and construction of a large, public sculpture installation for the Dallas/Fort Worth Airport (installed in June of 2005). Mr. Abee's work has been published in Metropolis magazine and has won awards in several juried furniture and sculpture exhibitions, including the Furniture Society's Curvature exhibition held in Savannah. Mr. Abee is currently working with Sens Furniture in the development of several of its new lines.
