this was not her true calling and turned to interiors as her medium of expression. As a set decorator in the film and television industry for almost ten years, she explored how visual environments could contribute to a character´s development and the storyline. After years of telling these temporary visual stories, Emily achieved one of the highest honors her industry had to offer, with the award of an Emmy in 2000 for her work on As The World Turns.

After achieving the success she had desired in this career, she began to explore using her skills in more lasting environments. She traveled to Asia, where she worked for a Bangkok-based company that produced furniture for five-star hotels in Europe and Asia. While there, she helped decorate the outdoor environments of some of the world's finest hotels. She now continues that journey through her involvement with Sens Furniture. With Sens Furniture, she is able to express her vision and help other designers and clients create beautiful environments in their home, office, or business.
