David Goldenberg, Founder and Principal Designer
David Goldenberg is the founder and principal designer of Sens Furniture. He has been designing
furniture for several years on his own and on a contract basis. As founder, Mr. Goldenberg
works with the other members of Sens to conceive of the strategic direction of the company, and
oversees all aspects of the company's business.
Mr. Goldenberg was educated at Stanford, with a background in humanities and law. During his time there he focused on the effects of the "postmodern" era on our consciousness, both through high art forms such as literature and film, and low art forms such as television, and how they can affect our culture and personal experiences in the world. At a design exhibition in Paris´ Pompidou Centre in 1990, he had his "a-ha" moment, and realized his passion for design. For years David lead a dual of life of being a lawyer by day and a designer by night, and began studying custom woodworking and furniture design.
